Hello there,

I having some trouble with any comments plugin I install on the Vlogger theme. For some reason, the comments section is not showing up after the article and instead, there’s an empty space. I tried disabling all the plugin and still, the problem is the same. The plugins I tried are Vuukle, Disqus, Spot.IM Comments, those are the ones I would like to install on my site but I have no clue whats going on.

Any advice?

Hello!

Considering that we can’t provide support on third party plugins, wgat I do is check your website and see if everything is ok.

hello there,

Maybe I don’t explain myself correctly but after the latest update none of the comments plugins I mentioned before are showing up after the article being published. What I did notice, they are showing in the series section and not in the article itself. I have to mention, I do test the plugins on another web site I have and they’re working fine. Also, let me know if you guys need my credentials.

Hello!
First, let me congrats with you because your website is very nice!

Then, we never tested those plugins with our theme before.
I’ve just done some research on the plugins you mentioned and I found that Disqus and Spot.IM have lots of incompatibility issues:

– https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/spotim-comments/reviews/

Vuukle will install share bar, rating system and comments system but all of these features are already included with the theme and can’t be replaced easily.

All the plugins you mentioned have bad ratings and very low installations so we can’t guarantee their compatibility with our theme.

We know that some of our clients are using different comments systems, but they manage the integration on their side, most of them editing the source code of the theme.

Just to be clear, our support policy does not include this kind of customization and in this case I could only point you to the right path on the php files.

Last, I’ve seen that you are using some kind of caching system on your project. Most of the time this kind of plugins create javascript issues with other plugins and maybe this could be your case.

thanks for those words about my site, but I still confuse about how come the comments (if I install one of those mentions plugins) appear on the series section but not in the article its self? I Have to mention I disable the cache plugin I have as well as any other plugin I have installed and still the same outcome.

Also, I know they have a bad rating, and for the same reason, I decided to move on and looks for others option, and still, I have the same outcome. The plugin I tested were: Vuukle, Disqus, Spot.IM Comments, Lazy FB Comments, AnyComment, and pipDisqus. The only one so far working in your theme is wpDiscuz

I really love your theme but I think I will move on and look for another solution. Thanks for your time
