Having an issue with installing QT contact form with the install package, is there a way around this?

Hello and thanks for reaching us.
This is such an unusual issue so first of all I need your website URL to check if everything is ok.
Then I highly recommend you to download the latest version of the theme and update it. This 99% of the times fix the issue 🙂

Hello,
I have a similar problem with the QT Contactform plugin. Despite the theme is updated, I cannot install the plugin. The error message I receive is that the version on the Themes2go website is outdated. How can I solve it, please?

This is the message shown in the WordPress panel:

“Installing Plugin: QT ContactForm

Download failed. Not Found

Plugin not activated. A higher version of QT ContactForm is needed for this theme. Please update the plugin.”

Hello Kaspar,
this is something related with the plugins update procedure.
What you can do is this:
1) Go to the plugins section and delete the QT ContactForm Plugin
2) Once done, go to the Lifecoach Theme Dashboard and click the plugins tab
3) Here you should see the QT ContactForm plugin on the list ready to be installed.
4) Install and activate the plugin

Just perform this steps and let me know if this can fix it.

Hello Andrea,
Thanks for reaching out. I tried to follow the procedure you suggested, but there is no mention to QT ContactForm plugin in the WP plugin section. The only reference to the plugin is in the theme menu that simply requests the plugin installation with “Install”, “Update”, and “Activate” possibilities. No chance to delete the request of installation.
What could it be possible to do?

Despite several efforts, the problem persists. I have even uninstalled the whole theme and installed it once again with no results. The theme requires an updated version of the plugin. Please, help me solve it, otherwise, the theme is not usable at all, with no chance to change the contact form.
