SeanHello Sean and thanks for reaching us.
Andrea here from Themes2go Customer support.I’ve just seen that you has already left a 1 star rating on Themeforest.
I don’t think this is fair because:– you open this ticket on weekend and as you may image, our office is closed.
– you are mentioning that “finding it impossible to figure out where or how to submit a support work ticket.”
As I can see, you opened the ticket here so I think you did find out how to contact us. Btw you can always find our support links on: product page on themeforest, manual on the zip file you download from Themeforest, private message on Themeforest.
– The error is not related with the product but from a installation not performed correctly.I do really suggest you to perform a reset of your WordPress installation and install again our theme following the procedure including on our manual here: https://www.themes2go.xyz/manuals/lifecoach/knowledge-base/theme-installation/
PS: there is also a step by step video tutorial.
If also this does not fix the issue, just reply below and I would take care of your website for you.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
AndreaHi Andrea,
Thanks for getting back to me. Yes, I discovered where to submit a Support Ticket. But it took me about 15 minutes to find the place to do it. But I’ll save time and headaches and not get into the details or provide several recommendations of how that process can be improved.
Rather, I’ll focus on the main problem I encountered… I couldn’t install the Demo Content without getting the error messages.
– Prior to my first attempt at installing the Demo Content, I watched the installation video and read all the documentation.
– After receiving the error messages shown in my original message, I then went back and deactivated any plugins that may conflict with the installation. I also changed any existing pages I had, into Draft Mode.
– After a second attempt at installing the Demo content, a few posts, and a few archives (blog and podcast) pages were imported. But the Homepage example, content on the Hompage, and several other pages were not imported. Rather, there was a partial import of some of the pages and assets, and the imported Homepage appeared with random, shortcode error messages. None of which I was able to fix after trying for several hours. Unfortunately, I didn’t take screenshots of those pages with the partial install and shortcakes and error messages. I really wish I had!
So, after several hours of trying to fix the problem, and seeking advice from a more experienced web dev, I gave up in frustration.
Bottom line, I followed the steps in the video, and I couldn’t install the demo content without getting the error messages.
If the problem persists or if a proper installation of the theme with the demo content can’t be corrected, I will have to ask for a refund.
I’m happy to provide you with my WP credentials via a private message if you want to try the installation yourself and see if you encounter the same issues I did. Would that be possible?
Thanks for your time.
SeanHello Sean,

This means that all your data including posts and page will be deleted.Looking forward from hearing to you,
AndreaHi Andrea,
Will the log-in information I post here/in this message be confidential?
I’m asking because I don’t see an option to send a Private message.Once you confirm my message will be Private, I’ll send you my log in information.
Thanks!
SeanAlso, I am not a developer and do not plan/will not make custom changes to the theme. At most, I will change the text, images, and color scheme in the theme Settings. So, if the installation of the child theme isn’t necessary, please do not install it.
Again, once you confirm that any credentials that I provide in this message will be Private, I’ll send you my login information and give you permission to proceed.
Thank you.
Hi Sean,
you can send your credentials to themes2go@gmail.com.
Despite is not necessary, I do suggest you installing the child theme for future profness 🙂Best,
AndreaHello Sean,

Thanks!
Hello Sean,
I didn’t receive any message from you. I’ve also checked on the spam folder but I couldn’t find anything related to your name. 🙁
This is getting a bit ridiculous and making the process to install the demo content even longer and more painful. It’s indicative of the problem I had installing the demo content. Even worse, we seem to be in a 12-hour opposite time zone each other. Where are you located?
If the message isn’t received and you’re not able to install the account, within the next 24 hours, I will be requesting a refund.
I just sent the email and credentials again from my Gmail account – Sean GM <fleck10@gmail.com>
Please let me know if/when you receive the email.
Thanks.
SeanHello Sean,
finally we made it 🙂
As you asked I’ve performed a proper installation of the theme including the child theme and importing the main demo.
The problems you were facing in your installation trials were triggered by all the third party plugins installed on your WordPress installation.
For this reason, I deactivated them all. Now I suggest you to activate them one by one choosing which ones are strictly necessary.Consider that having lots of active plugins could affect your website loading speed and the overall performance.
Hope this helps you build your website 🙂
Regarding your last message, you need to consider that, as stated on our items support policy, it might take to 48 hours to answer tickets. In the weekend the support service is offline.
We are based in Europe so a different zone might apply.
Have a nice day!
AndreaSo far, so good. Looks great!
Thank you for your assistance and quick turnaround on the installation!
Much appreciated!Cheers.
SeanHi Andrea,
I have two questions:
1. Is there a way to change/modify the “Brackets” [ ] to a different symbol/character that is used throughout the Theme? If not, is there a way to remove the brackets?
2. Can I use a different page builder OTHER THAN WP Bakery to create pages/build my website/modify existing pages, and that will work well/smoothly and WON’T cause conflicts with this Theme? e.g. Cornerstone, Thrive Page Builder, or even Elementor?
WP Bakery is the worst of the page builders. So being able to use any other page builder would be super helpful.
Thanks for your time!
– Sean
Hello Sean and thanks for reaching us.
1. Currently the brackets are not a font. They’re created with css code and can’t be changed easily. You would need to edit the theme source code but this would require at least some basic developing knowledge (or maybe you could hire a developer on Fiverr or Codeable).
2. Due to technical reason when the theme has been created, just WP Bakery Page Builder is implemented. We are thinking to add Elementor as a new Page Builder but I can’t tell you an ETA for rolling out it.
I’m not sure what conflicts you’ve found, but what I can do for you is supporting to ensure a quicker and better experience of use for our product.
Just reply below with your questions and doubts and I would be more than happy to support you.Have a nice day,
Andrea
