currently you can’t manage subtitles preferences inside our video player. You can edit your preferences via YouTube settings on your account. Check this out:

Hello, I don’t have a quick answer for you, but will fix it in next update.
We don’t have a precise date for the update, will work as fast as possible, I hope one or two weeks. Can’t grant same timing for the player update because it’s a pretty complex subject which requires lot of testing.

Also, Envato recently changed entirely the theme requirements, forcing to update every existing product. If we don’t do a deep update of the products they will be removed (means no updates and no support) so you may understand how important this is compared to new features, so we need to prioritize it.

Hello there!

We tried to update the video player but it seems that it has rewritten from scratch from the player developers. This means that currently is not compatible with Vlogger yet and it needs lots of work to make it work on the theme.

Our developers thought was an easy task to update but after getting into the code it results in a no straightforward implementation.

As the current video player is working fine and the amount of work to add the new version is very high, we are not going to make changes in the short term but for sure we’ll be our priority let you know when ready.
