post duration?

Hi,

I see on my posts in both the grid view and in other areas number looks like duration.. however these posts is not video posts just normal. check the screenshots below:

I see it say read time but just to make sure, whats does it stand for? since my video posts does not have it.. only the normal posts. can we have it turned on or off?

I would like to have control on this and maybe it will be nice to see the video duration for the video posts too 😉

Hello Ammar!
What you said in your topic is right: the time displayed on your standard posts is the read time and it’s automatically calculated on the total amount of words included in your post.

Currently there is no setting available with the theme that can turn it on or off.
You should edit the PHP code or maybe hiding it via a CSS snippet.

On video posts, the length of the video can’t be automatically calculated, so we’ve provided a custom field under the text editor to manually add a video duration.

If you do not fill it with anything, the video duration will be hidden on posts and lists.
