Cild theme damaged

Hello,

i purchased vlogger theme. i installed vlogger theme properly without problem and when i want to import main demo, it import this without problem apparently, but few seconds later a message “child theme damaged” appears and wordpress theme by default become activated…
How to have a child theme which it works please?

Hello, it is very strange because the child theme should have only 2 files inside.
The issue can happen if your rename the theme folders.
If you didn’t rename the folders and you didn’t change any line of code in the PHP files, you may have missing files and you can try reinstalling the child theme after deleting the one you have now in your server.
We have no other reports of similar issues and we use the child theme as well in many websites so it should be something specific of your installation.

If you didn’t change anything and a full theme and child theme reinstallation doesn’t help please let me know.
It is also please important to provide the URL of your website.

hello. i change anything.
instaed of importing demo theme, i installed demo theme with file i downloaded with all files. It seems to be better, but there’s elements differents with demo on theme forest, like slideshow caroussel, or with series caroussel, or with subscription on newsletter. This 3 elements aren’t full width. How to configure this elements to be on full width please?

I see that you have duplicated content because you imported twice the demo contents.

Anyway to have the elements in full width be sure to use the Visual Composer page template while creating the page (on the right column of the page editor) and be sure to NOT add a container to the rows in Visual Composer.

hello,

yes early morning i managed to have in full width all what i want.
Just an other question please. Beetween header and slideshow i have a white band. i don’t know where i can remove it. An idea maybe?

Hi there!
It seems you’ve changed the template from the right tab of the page settings.
Try switching to “Page FullWidth” and let me know if it works.
