Contact Form 7

Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_user_locale() in /home/inventin/public_html/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/includes/l10n.php on line 70

It is loaded but I cannot activate it. It is the only plugin that there is a problem with. It is not letting me load a demo or do anything.

Hello!

As this seems only a Contact Form 7 issue related I suggest request support from the plugin developer here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/contact-form-7/

Maybe you can try to roll back the plugin version with this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-rollback/ and check if it’s a problem that affects the latest version only.

You can also try to ask your hosting provider to switch the PHP version to 7.3.

These could probably help you fixing it.

I changed the PHP, no luck.
The rollback isn’t compatible with my wordpress
and going in circles trying to reach the developer. I am more than frustrated spending the whole day with this.

What else can I do?

The issue could be fixed by updating WordPress to its last version or disabling third-party plugins.

How do I get around the fact: Warning: This plugin has not been marked as compatible with your version of WordPress.

Ready to throw in the towel. 3 days of this crap and I am wasting time. Please let me know what the solution is or I will just get another theme.

I’ve investigated your case as it seems your WordPress version is not longer supported by Contact Form 7.

This is your website source code and it seems you are on WordPress 4.4.2

On the Contact Form 7 plugin page (https://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7/) it’s stated that you need at least WordPress 4.9 or higher

So please, update your WordPress version to the latest version (or at least to the one required from CF7) and check if the problem persists.
