Hello,
I have attempted multiple time to load the Life coach demo content, but the only thing that happens is that i get repeating menu items on every page. Please help
Hello jerrywoods,
thanks for writing in. Andrea here from Themes2Go Customer Support.
Your issue is quite strange and in order to fix it, you can install a plugin called “WP Reset“, do a default reset of your WordPress installation and then try to install plugins and demo contents again.
Obviously, all your contents will be deleted. It can be also helpful, have a look at our installation video tutorial:
Keep me posted on that.
AndreaHello Andrea,
I tried this solution several times. It did not work. It does not load the demo content. But it places multiple copies of the menu on the page. I am including a screen shot. Please help. I have been wrestling with this since my purchase.I has been extremely frustrating.
Thank youp.s. cannot upload screen shot. please tell me where this can be done.
Hello,
installing demo contents is a straightforward procedure and you should not have any problem following the video tutorial.
Could you please try to install the theme on a fresh WordPress installation? Please also check our manual: http://www.themes2go.xyz/manuals/lifecoach/
You can upload screenshots on https://imgur.com/upload and then paste the image URL here.
Thanks,
AndreaI hve done a fresh install… My host is godaddy. here is the upload link
https://imgur.com/a/xt6bRssI am following all instructions exactly. Over and over again.
Please let me know what else i can do. I really want to use this product.Kind regards,
JerryHi Jerry,
this is really strange and unusual.Every time you import the demo, the contents are created again, and the items are added to the menu again. But if you really tried to install WordPress and theme from scratch this is kinda nonsense.
If you want to completely “format” the website (removing also any content already existing, old posts and so on) as stated in previous replies, you can use a plugin called WP reset, and then start over again.Warning: this will erase everything, bringing your WordPress to the same state it was once installed.
If the issue only related to the duplicated menu items you are mentioning, they can instead be managed in Appearance > Menu, where you can delete all the items and create new ones, or delete the entire menu, create your own, and in Menu Locations assign it to the main menu location.
Keep me posted on that,
AndreaAs I mentioned before, I tried WP reset as per your instructions, that did not work. Also, I am very aware of how to change the menus, this would be fine if it was the only problem. But it never loads the demo content. This is the problem where i need your help. Again, it never loads the demo content. I can give you access if needed, but please try to help me.
Thanks for your feedback,
As I can see now from your screenshot you didn’t perform a reset of your WordPress installation. If you did properly, you would not have all these menu items. So please just not install the plugin, do a complete reset.Go to Tools -> WP Reset and follow the instructions.
Going on, make sure that your server meets the theme requirements.
http://www.themes2go.xyz/manuals/lifecoach/knowledge-base/requirements/
Then, did you install the demo contents before installing the required plugins? If not, please make a fresh WP installation and then install theme’s core plugins and after that try to import the demo contents.Last, did you get some kind of errors during the demo contents import? If so, could you please provide a screenshot?
Thanks

Hello
As I mentioned before. I have used WP reset in the steps you prescribe several times.
The multiple menu items are not there until i try to add the demo content.
I will pay extra to have you to login and correct this problem. I have experience with WordPress. I need your help to fix this, I have done every strep in the directions you have provided – in the proper sequence. As a customer you are making this very frustrating. But I will pay the extra to have this installed. Please tell me next steps.Hello Jerry,
I understand your frustration but you are experiencing a very unusual situation. Most of the time, this kind of issues can be solved with a fresh installation of WordPress (or reset) and theme. In order to solve it, we can try this:
– Install All in One Migration (https://wordpress.org/plugins/all-in-one-wp-migration/) and make a copy of your website.
– Upload the file on WeTransfer or some cloud service and send the download link to team@themes2go.xyz.
– Our developers will check your installation and eventually fix the issues.
– After this, I will send you a file to import to your installation using All in One Migration. Thanks

hello
I sent the file to the address in the emailPlease let me know next steps
Thank you
JerryHello Jerry,
I’ve just imported and checked your installation: everything was messed up so I decided to start from scratch using WP Reset plugin as installing the theme again.
I’ve recorded my desktop so you can easily replicate the steps to solve the issue. Here’s the video:
Hope this now can help you.

Thanks for the instructional video. I followed the instructions exactly, ( i was doing that already)
I get the same results. But I notice that when the load demo is clicked, the page takes a lot longer that the one on the video before it comes back stating that it has been installed. My installation never comes back to the “installed complete” screen. it comes back saying the page could not be loaded. It seems that the demo load is timing out. I just know where its happening. I use godaddy to host the page. What are your thoughts here?
Hello Jerry,
at this point, it is clear that is all about your server configuration.
Regarding load time, it’s all about server performance. The video I sent you was done on a local installation so it’s always quicker than a remote installation. What you wrote about the demo load getting timeout is make me think that your server has not the proper requirements. Could you please verify them on our manual?
http://www.themes2go.xyz/manuals/lifecoach/knowledge-base/requirements/What version of PHP is installed on your server? You will need PHP 7.0
You can check using this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-php-info/If everything is ok, maybe it could be some execution time limit.
Please use one of these solutions (any server is different so one of these methods may work better than the others depending on the server settings)1. add this in the .htaccess file of your server
php_value memory_limit 128M php_value post_max_size 128M php_value upload_max_filesize 128M php_value max_execution_time 1800
2. add this to wp-config.php
define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’64M’);
3. create a text file, call it php.ini and put this text in it:
upload_max_filesize = 64M post_max_size = 64M
Looking forward to your response,
AndreaThat worked!
Thanks much.. New issue, How can I change the existing text on the pages please?
Once again, thank you
Hello Jerry,
glad we’ve found a fix for your issue.
About existing text to change, what do you mean?
You can edit your pages with WP Bakery Page Builder. Here’s a link to one of our video tutorials: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lr8n5oNn0pg&index=5&list=PLCGMXZPzCkmaiQ4jHABlftTJ3qVKu6L2bHave a good day,
Andrea
