An error occured …..WPBakery Page Builder To receive automatic updates license activation is required. Please visit Settings to activate your WPBakery Page Builder. Got WPBakery Page Builder in theme?
Did I miss something during installation of the theme ? Just bought it some days ago and installed with WP 4.8.3…
Is that error normal ? How to solve ?
ThanksHello khyoz, yes you are missing something:

We will provide the plugin update with the next theme version. It doesn’t have anything to do with the new WP version, the previous Visual Composer plugin version still works perfectly. We will provide a plugin udpate with the theme in a couple of weeks.
ThanksThanks for the answer…but now I cannot change any page now after the update, as this plugin needs to be updated. For each page, now I have a message page is empty.
That’s a problem ! Happily I was not in production, but if there is a security upgrade for WP, it’s almost not possible to wait several weeks until we’re able to modify a page if necessary. So do we need to buy a separate licence for each plugin you use to be safe ?- This reply was modified 7 years, 1 month ago by khyoz.
Hi khyoz, that’s not because of the plugin version, we are still in test with wp 4.9 and the old visual composer version, no issues detected.
We have no reports of similar issues and we are in all our demo sites now with wp 4.9 and past visual compsoer versions, making updates this morning to the pages and was working fine. Please look: WP 4.9 and VC 5.4.2

https://imgur.com/CnD3Bi8Really, we are using this version all day long, and works fine. You seem to have an issue related with something elase, please delete visual composer and reinstall it with the automatic installer.
Also, just in case, be sure to have latest theme version. Thanks
