Installed Correctly but then changed demo contents and now its all jumbled up!

I installed the theme correctly, installed the plugins and then installed the demo content all just fine. Then I decided to try and change the demo contents… I went in and selected another demo content and activated it and it was all jumbled up. I tried to change it again to a different demo content. Same thing. I even tried to switch it back to the 1st demo content that I had working correctly but now that one is jumbled up looking too!

The next day I deleted the entire theme from my WP install and then reinstalled it and tried again… cannot get the demo contents to install without being all jumbled up. I get the “you installed successfully, click here to view site” message but its all messed up looking.

Is this a common problem, what can i do to fix?

thanks for writing in. Andrea here from Themes2Go Customer Support.
Your issue is quite strange and in order to fix it, you can install a plugin called “WP Reset“, do a default reset of your WordPress installation and then try to install plugins and demo contents again.
Obviously, all your contents will be deleted.

after many attempts at clearing my WP install, etc… I finally got it to work. Now please help me with this issue…

How do you change the header image on the homepage? The main image behind the title, “Release Your Full Potential” ? I use the ‘customize’ area and click into the Header area and change the photo there but it does nothing. I even go into the Pages section of WP and find the “Lifecoach WP Theme – Front Page” and try to change the featured image there to no avail.

I have also checked the sizing requirements to make sure my image was sized correctly. Just to test it I tried to upload your featured image from the demo to see if I could even get that one to work http://themes2go.xyz/demos/lifecoach/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/lifecoach-home-new.jpg but no, it does not.

I’ve watched the video but its not very helpful for this. Please help.

…and yes i’ve published the changes and refreshed the page/cleared cache each time. the image does not update…

Hello,

in order to change the homepage header background, you should edit the page with WP Bakery Page Builder, find the first row containing your hero titles and edit its background.
