menu colors

im trying to change the colors of the menu links as i want to use white background instead of transparent but even if transparent, the colors sometimes dont match.

I’ve check the customization part where the colors are, and i dont see anything for the menus.

our theme is based on Material Design principles to maintain a harmony between the elements and provide a consistent color pattern. An easy fix for your issue, as written in the manual, could be adding extra CSS code.
Try this: go to Appearance -> Customize -> Additional CSS and copy this CSS line:

.qt-menubar a {color:#000}

You can choose the HEX color you want by replacing #000 with your favorite tint.

thanks, i wasn’t sure which name was the menu bar, thanks for the code. appreciated.

and i definitely look into better colorization with harmony ha. i know white is very plain.

i have another question, i wasn’t sure if i should make a new thread, but i was curious is there a way to change the headers images of the specific categories or series on the pages?

i know some themes, you can change it via specific categories page. didn’t quite see it for yours.

currently Vlogger Theme supports featured images for series and not for categories.

got it thanks. its a shame there isn’t a option to change the header photo categories etc.

also last question, i didn’t see an option for search as i would like to have viewers able to search the site for what they want to see, is there a way to do that or i need to use third party?

Thanks for your feedback, if other customers will show the same need we will add this feature for sure. 🙂

For the other question, you can enable the search feature by going on Appearance -> Customize -> Header and then switching on “Add Search to Header”.
