mobile homepage customization

hello,

I’d like to display an image or something different for the mobile browser rather than the video I got for desktop

Right now, the video displays on PC and on tablets, but on mobile there is nothing.

I have been al day testing, and looks like some responsiveness issues.

You have any tips on how to handle the mobile version?

Videos are not playing on about us page and in homepage.

In any case, as I said above, for the homepage in mobile devices, I’d like to display an image instead of the video

Mobile has no support for video backgrounds, that function is not possible for mobile browsers. Nor you see it in our demos or other sites. Aside, this is Page Builder stuff, but is a global limitation, not of our theme alone.

that’s ok- I just want to know then how do I put an image instead for the mobile version so the desktop version keeps the video playing

Ok, I have been testing several plug-ins for mobile responsiveness, and looks like I have done something wrong, and now the website is not displayed at all in any mobile device. Is just working the desktop version but not the mobile version.

I have deactivated all the new plug-ins I tried, and never tried more than once at a time.

Can you please help in reestablishing my mobile site?

Hello,
I can’t support you dealing with third-party plugins that could mess the code. Moreover, you don’t need plugins for mobile responsiveness because it is already managed by the WP Bakery Page Builder.

By the way, WP Bakery Page Builder blocks video backgrounds for mobile devices. A quick fix could be adding an image as row background so on a desktop will load the video and on mobile the image you set.

You should edit the row containing the video and then in “Design Options” Tab, choosing a background image. Check the image below:

If you wanna hide the entire row you need to edit it, select “Responsive Option” and then check “hide” on the mobile row.

Hi Andrea, i got it.

The problem is that there is a blank page when visiting the homepage from a mobile.

As i said, i have no external plugins now, they are all deactivated, but my homepage from the mobile won’t show up.

Can you please check this website: http://www.nomadsrtw.com from your mobile to understand what my issue is?

Any help is much appreciated since i just shared the web and now i don’t know how to get this fixed
