I dunno why this just happened out of the blue, but my website is show html coding.
I’ve tried to update it with the latest vlogger zip and it keeps saying it exceeds the maximum file size.
I tried going to the install plug-in’s page to install t2g chapters and page builder, but neither of those install.
What has gone wrong?Hello there!
Andrea here from Themes2go Customer support.Exceeding maximum file size is something related with your server and you should investigate with your hosting provider.
By the way you could try following this guide and maybe make it work: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-increase-the-maximum-file-upload-size-in-wordpress/
Regarding the issue, you should first send us a link of your website so we would be able to start a first debug of you WordPress installation.
But it could be also an installation procedure issue, so I suggest first to check our manual’s page: https://themes2go.xyz/manuals/vlogger/knowledge-base/theme-installation/
Said this I can check it for you but you need to send a message to team@themes2go.xyz including:
– wp-admin url
– admin username
– admin passwordKeep me posted on that.
Looking forward from hearing to you.Andrea
Hello Andrea, yes I thought it was unlimited, I could be looking at the wrong thing but this is what I got.
Overuse policy
Overuse of disk space and traffic is allowedThis is a resource usage summary for your subscription.
Disk space
513.9 MB used of UnlimitedI sent you the information to log in as well.
Hello Deen and thanks for you message.
I’ve just logged into your website and I understand what the issue is related to:
Basically you didn’t install WP Bakery Page Builder (the bundled page builder) that converts that html code into visual elements such as rows, columns, etc.Fixing this is a straight forward procedure:
– update the theme
– go to your backend -> Vlogger -> click on plugins and you should find a list of not installed/updated plugin. From what I can see though, you have same restriction server side that are not related with the theme. See the image below.
Currently we are unable to manage your server configuration so you have to request this to your hosting provider.
You can easily share with your hosting provider our requirements list: https://themes2go.xyz/manuals/vlogger/knowledge-base/requirements/
Once “unlocked” those new requirements I can easily support with your request.
Consider that now, I couldn’t perform any new theme upload on your website. Please reach out your hosting provider and then get back to me.
Keep me posted on that.
Have a nice day,Andrea
Just now seeing this and thanks.
Alright, I will get back with you via email when they reply back.
Here’s what was said:
Hi,
.htaccess and modsecurity are not provided in Windows shared hosting. Other limits are set. Please check and let us know for further assistance.

Support teamHello!
Now it’s all clear.
WordPress needs a Linux environment to run properly as described on its requirements https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/.
You are using a Windows hosting, for this reasons you would have also limitations on your website.I highly recommend switching to a different Linux hosting.
Hope this helps,
AndreaOkay, so I would have to buy a whole new hosting account and be sure it’s Linux.
Or could I just redownload WP Bakery on my site and this would be running smoothly again?Hello!
My suggestion is switching your hosting to a Linux base one.
This will prevent any further issues between your hosting and your WordPress installation.Andrea
Alright Andrea, the migration is done. But things are still the same.
Let me know if you need anything else to help me get this right.
As I am lost.Hello Deen and thanks for the update.
I’ve managed to update all the plugins and theme, now your website is showing WP Bakery Page Builder shortcodes in the right way.I saw you’ve installed also Visual Composer and I suggest you to deactivate it and use just WP Bakery Page Builder to build your pages.
Having two page builders might affect your website behavior.Just let me know if everything is fixed.
Have a nice day,Andrea
Thanks Andrea!
Will do, and one last thing, you see when you scroll down on home page? There’s a large open space for no reason, do you know how to shorten that?
Thanks again.
