Hello,
I duplicated the “home professional”, customized it according to your descriptions but the preview lead to 404 not found. I now solved the problem – after having defined the new site as start the preview works.
But I am asking myself: why is the photo that I defined for the 404 page (in the settings section where I defined colors etc) not displayed? How do I customize the 404 page?- This topic was modified 6 years, 3 months ago by ideenreich.
Hi, the 404 page takes the global settings form the customizer, it has only tha background customizable, no extra settings.

Hi, that’s what I did – uploaded my picture there – but it had not been displayed. How can I preview or test the 404 page? Anything else I could have done wrong?
Hello ideenreich!
In the customizer, you can upload a custom background. In order to test the 404 page, after saving it, just type your website URL in the browser address bar followed by random letters, for example http://yourwebsiteurl.com/asd.
This will prompt you the 404 page. There aren’t any other customizations available for the 404 page, so if it doesn’t work the issue could be related with third-party plugins you’ve installed.
Hope this can help you.
Andrea
