Remove any vertical space between rows…

Hi,

I am having issues removing any and all vertical space between rows and would like my rows to be packed together with no vertical spacing between them.

Is there a way to do this for all resolutions?

Hello justin,
if you can send some screenshots as reference it could be great.
By the way, to edit spacing between rows you should edit a single row clicking on the pencil icon, then go to Design Options and add 0px to top and bottom margin.

Hi,

I have tried that and it doesn’t work. (see image: https://www.46and2designs.com/spacing-problems.jpg)

I have to use a negative number like -80px to show no space, but then that even splits depending on the size of the screen. 🙁

The theme is up to date and I am using the child theme. Super frustrating, nothing with this theme seems to be “easy”, even in the backend editor which i have used on other site with no problem. The same with the theme options, which looks different than what you show in FAQs.

Hopefully its just something I am overlooking?

Thanks Justin, the space seems caused by something else, now that I see your screenshots.

The problem is that without seeing the live page, is really impossible to provide a solution. is this site online or you are in a local environment?

If online, please post a link of this page, otherwise, you need to right clic on the white space between the rows, and select inspect element.

Then please post us a screen of the HTML and CSS you see in the debugger

I have so many issues with things I want to edit through css with this theme.
Say if I find it in the code editor, change it to how I want it in there (everything works) and then copy it to the additional css under Appearance-> Customize. Half the time it doesn’t change anything 🙁 Super frustrating.

Also I am really trying to move the main navigation (secondary top nav can stay where its at.) to the right while keeping the logo to the left, and I would like to be able to have the initial height of the logo larger before it shrinks when you scroll. Do you have a snippet for this?

Can you link the real page so I can debug it?

2) Navigation: about this, you cannot do this within the theme options, and code changes are not part of the Themeforest support service, so I can’t help you with that, sorry!

You have set the rows to be full height

So, despite the content is shorter, the container has a height = 100% of screen height, causing empty space.

Just edit the row setting and disable the full height option.

Sorry a couple more questions…

When I add a “Featured List” it is showing the list bullet and then the icon.
1. how can I remove the bullet (shouldn’t be there)
2. how do i change the icon to what i want to use as well as its attributes (size color, etc)

and lastly, how do I remove vertical spacing between the final row and the footer?

Hi

1) When I add a “Featured List” > This item is made to be used only when you choose the page template for Visual Composer. In other pages it cannot display properly. And, there are no icon options. there are plenty of plugins to do this, when we embed in the theme a functionality that is covered by other plguins with 10000 options, is because people have no time and just want to do a list in style with the theme, this is why the shortcodes have few design options.
You can otherwise find one among about 20 plugins to make lists, they have really an impressive amount of parameters you can choose.

Our shortcode is a quick cut to obtain the result without too much setup hassle.

2) Shop: I’m sorry but I’m not even able to open this page. It seems your hosting package requires some improvement to run a shop. This page takes forever to me to open: https://bov3.wpengine.com/merch/

Also, yesterday there was WooCommerce 3.6 out, and we just published a theme update. Please be sure to install the new theme version to fix it.

OK, i am using the visual composer for the Featured List but its not working correctly. Will look into a plugin.

As for the merch page it opens fine, have tried from multiple locations, browsers and connections. It is a staging environment right now so it is a bit slower for sure.

Will do the theme update and see what happens.

Hi, sorry for missing the last question.
It would be better anyway to open a separate thread for different problems.

I checked what’s going on, and it seems the problems are 2:

1) https://imgur.com/a/58hJgq9 You put this element in a normal content page, which you should not be using with Page Builder, this in fact causes the conflixts you see.

If you wanted the boxed contene, use a Visual COmpsoer apge template, and use the checkbox “boxed content” for the wors you want to be boxed.

You should not do what you instead are doing (point 2)

2) Do not build a Page Builder page in a Page Fullwidth, do instead as explained at point 2. Otherwise you’ll try the tedious “force fullwidth” option of Page Builder which is a heavy and slow workaround to fix boxed pages.
