Replace Map with a picture on Theme

In the middle of the page there is suppose to be a Map but showing an error message, I what to replace that with a picture. How this can be done?

Hi Andrea, Any way the plugin can be removed? without anything else being affected. I still want the events sidebar to remain.

I removed it from Homepage. It is on Events Page. I set all locations to London but Map is showing Grey. How can I get the Map to re appear on Events page?

Hello, if the map is grey is because you didn’t add the Google Maps API key to the QT Places options.
Please go in Settings > QT Places, you will see a link to the google Maps api key at the top of the settings page, follow the link and read carefully ALL the instructions prompted on the google page.

You have to
1) Create a project on the Google API page
2) Enable the google maps api
3) Create an API key for google maps within your project
4) Copy that code (is like a long string of characters) and place it in the QT Places settings page

The plugin has its own manual, is in PDF and is inside of the Life Coach product zip file you downloaded from Themeforest. In the manual you have all the information regarding the plugin in detail.

Without the plugin you won’t be able to set maps and location details for the events, all the rest will still work fine.

PS I closed the previous topic because was a duplicated of this. I just saw your page

It works perfectly and the map shows correctly.
You can see a street on the left.
It is very “close” on the location because you have only 1 event, the plugin is created to display multiple events and calculate the maximum level of zoom to fit all the events in the box.

As you have only 1 it appears very “zoomed”. Until you don’t have more than 1 event in different location, doesn’t really make lot of sense to use the map in the events archive page, I’d suggest to temporary hide it.

Anyway, people can zoom out and see more of the area.

Also, I’m seeing as you said that you have set all the locations to London. For this reason it can only show 1 dot (all the dots are perfectly overlapped). If you set different locations it will make more sens to display the map, otherwise is not very useful for the visitors if all the events are in the same location.

Thanks I understand, if I change location of other events, will the map display correctly?
