I’m totally a newbie, so please bear with me 🙂
I am building my blog using vlogger child.
If I work inside “customization” I can see a list of possible networks to choose. Same is possible to be seen in the social networks page of customization in the manual.
The list has these socials:
Twitter
Beatport
Amazon
Facebook
Blogger
Behance
Bebo
Flickr
Pinterest
RSS
Triplevision
Tumblr
Twitter
Vimeo
WordPress
Whatpeopleplay
Youtube
Instagram
Soundcloud
Myspace
Googleplus
Itunes
Juno
Lastfm
Linkedin
Mixcloud
Resident-advisor
Reverbnation

What if I want to add another social network to this option?
In my case I want to add the social network named “Medium”.
Is it possible?

In general is this theme customizable with external elements?

Currently there is no option to include Medium as a social network that would not require any code customization.
What I can do for now is get your request in next release pipeline but currently I can’t tell you an estimated time to deliver it.

There are so many newer Social Media platforms now. i.e.: Rumble, Gettr, etc. How can we add the Social Media outlets in Customization? Is there a PHP code that can be added?

Hello!

Currently there is no option to add new icons autonomously and there is no easy fix for that.

Consider that, requests like these, are not part of the theme support territory so what I can just do is suggesting you a different approach to the issue.

In this case, the best option would be hiring a freelance developer for this because it might break the theme basic functionalities if not done properly.
You can try fiverr.com or codeable.io.

Doing this, just couldn’t add all your favorite social networks to your website, but also being customized on your preferences.
