Hi Andrea, got in to the support backend, thanks for that.
I think Vlogger is an amazing theme and just what I want for the GMI video website. Some of the features are truly amazing, however, I am coming up against several issues. The website can be found here:
Here are some of the initial problems
1. I have imported a video series from the GMI Youtube channel into the Vlogger theme using the Meks plugin. The problem is, when I add chapters to the imported video, the chapter tab does not show up. The chapter tab DOES show up if I create a new post from scratch and create a tutorial post. Why is the chapters not tab not showing up when everything is the same between the two versions? Also, the order of the tabs is not correct in the version that does not work and I can’t see how to change tab order.
2. I often have a problem in playing a video. If I add a WPBakery Youtube element insert later in the page, the video in the header will play, but obviously I don’t want to add this as it defeats the purpose of the tutorial concept you created.
3. On an iPad the tutorial pages look really poor and all over the place. I can create screenshots for you if you wish them. I am right in thinking that Vlogger is completely responsive and works on mobiles, tablets and desktop computers?
I’ll leave it at those 3 points for now. Many thanks for your time and theme.
Ged
Hello Ged and thanks again for reaching us.
First let me thank you for you kind words 🙂
I’ve just send your request to our dev team in order to check if some bugs is going on and I’ll keep you posted as soon as possible.
Regarding your points:
1. We did not tested our theme with Meks Video Importer. The one we used in our tests is the one you can find here https://wordpress.org/plugins/video-importer/. Not sure if this could be related, but we are going to investigate it.
Said this can you link us a page including some chapters? We would like to inspect the page source code. Moreover just a question: did you follow the correct steps to add chapters in a tutorial? If not, check our video tutorial here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FkGHC3QNZsM2. Under investigation. Could you link us a page with the issue?
3. Our theme for sure is responsive, but the tutorial template works and fits better on desktop computers. It would be nice if you can link to me some screenshot in order to get better what you see and fool poor and check if we can fix it for you. Does it make sense for you?
Best regards,
Peeter
