We have recently installed the Vlogger Professional WordPress Template following the instructions in the installation manual. We have installed one of the demos that come with the product and have inserted our videos and series. Now we can’t play any of the videos. Something very strange has happened although in the demo version it only shows the same video over and over again. Could you help us??? Our videos are under the domain revolupayvideos.com. Thanks in advance. We look forward to your quick response.
Hello there and thanks for reaching us.
Andrea here from Themes2go Customer support. In order to fix the problem you should try these two path:
– instead of replacing contents from the demo, try to create new ones and copy and paste your video url as first item of the page as shown on our video tutorial you can find here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojzZXzAXDQsThis 90% of the time would fix it
– try to disable third party plugins that could interfere with the theme functionalities (multilingual sitepress for your case) and check again.
If these don’t fix the issue, you can send us a message to themes2go@gmail.com including your admin url, user and password. Then I would investigate the issue for you.
Keep me posted on that,
AndreaThanks for the quick reply. Maybe I don’t explain myself correctly but we insert our videos in new posts and we eliminate the ones that came with the demo in question. We have inserted all our videos as indicated in the video tutorial you sent us. When we try to view the video, the playback indicator does not start the video and blinks as if it were in an eternal loading process.
Even installing a “clean” copy of your template, the videos are not displayed.
Let’s “raise” one of these copies. We are running WordPress 6.0.1 (latest stable version) with PHP 7.4 and MySQL 5.7. I send you the credentials so that you can access and review what may be happening.
Thanks in advance.
Hello and thanks for your clarification.
I’ve just investigate the issue on your website and it seemed that the autodetect video feature wasn’t enabled. You can play with video settings by going to Appearance -> Customize -> Video settings.
Once activated I created a new demo post with one of your videos url and, as you can see by the screen recording below, it works like it would be.
If you have any other issues with our theme just let me know 🙂
Have a nice day,
AndreaHi Adele,
Thank you very much for the quick and effective response!
We stay in touch if another problem arises.
Thank you
Hi Adele,
We have a perception: we cannot insert HTML code in the footer. How can we achieve it???
Hello!
In order to use HTML in footer you have to add a widget.
Go to Appearance -> Widgets
Here you will find a list of widgets, including the Custom HTML one.
Drag and drop to the Footer Sidebar and then you should be able to add your custom HTML code.Hope this helps,
AndreaHi Andrea,
The widget solution inserts the code in the panel before the actual footer. how to include a widget in the true footer???
In the case of the Series carousel, the generated “Read More” links do not work. The same goes for the “View Playlist” link of the “Custom Cards”.
Another problem is that the secondary menu is not shown in the mobile versions.
I would also like you to tell us how we can put random banners in the same “add zone” because apparently it is also impossible.
Thanks in advance.
Hello,
I’m gonna answer your questions here after:
– footer widget add elements to the bottom footer as mentioned in my previous reply. Please be sure to add your widget in the correct sidebar as you can see on the image below:– Serious carousel link “Read more” is working as expected as seen on our online demo product on Themeforest https://preview.themeforest.net/item/vlogger-professional-video-tutorials-wordpress-theme/full_screen_preview/20414115?_ga=2.106641283.1415560500.1658731605-1403491577.1587502526
The Custom card link instead, it’s something that we would fix with our developers as soon as possible.
– Secondary menu is not shown on mobile version due to lack of space as you can see on our online product demo linked above.
– I’m not sure what are you referring to when saying “add zone” but I highly recommend to check our online knowledge base regarding how to add banners on Vlogger https://themes2go.xyz/manuals/vlogger/knowledge-base/2-7-ads-manager/
I would be back to you with a theme update with the custom cards link bug in the next days.
Hope these answer may help.
AndreaHi Andrea,
First of all, thanks for the fix of one of the mentioned problems.
Secondly, I send you a doubt that we have and that have not been clearly raised:
– How we can introduce HTML code through the “Footer Customization” section.
Thanks.
Hello!
In the Footer Customization section you do not have the possibility to inject HTML code. Inside this section you have 3 settings:– Add a footer text
– Add a background image for widget section
– enable/disable footer widgetsThe only easy way to add custom HTML in the footer is using the provided WordPress widgets as mentioned in my previous reply.
If you need a deeper customization for the footer, you should edit the theme source code but this is something that goes out of our support territory as mentioned on our product support policy (https://www.themes2go.xyz/helpdesk/policy/).
Hope this helps.
Have a nice day,Andrea
Hi Andrea,
First of all we want to thank you for your quick, kind and patient responses.
We have a question because when we install any of the demos that come with the product, the footer text contains a link that points to: “Themes2Go.xyz” (I send you a screenshot themes2go@gmail.com).
This is the default text: “Copyright 2017 Themes2GO.xyz – Vlogger is the leading WordPress theme for youtubers and video websites”. However, when we try to edit this same text by modifying the url of the href of this same link, it is lost from the footer. This must be the correct behavior???
Thanks a lot.
Hello,
This is something we should investigate in a deeper way.
Please send us a mail to themes2go@gmail.com including:– wp-admin url
– admin username
– admin password
– text you want in the footerOnce received, I would personally take care of it.
Best,
AndreaHello Andrea,
We have installed a fresh copy of your product and still have the same problems with the links in the footer text.
After a set of tests and a deep investigation we have come to the conclusion that there is some problem saving said text.
Here I send you some screens and elements that allowed us to reach this conclusion:
1. This item (and others) are stored in the ‘wp_options’ table of the database. The option ‘theme_mods_vlogger-child’ contains an array in JSON format. The ‘vlogger_footer_text’ component of this array stores the text in question.
I send the values of this component before and after being modified:
(Original):
…;s:19:”vlogger_footer_text”;s:159:”Copyright 2017 Themes2GO.xyz – Vlogger is the leading WordPress theme for youtubers and video websites”;…(After save):
…;s:19:”vlogger_footer_text”;s:102:”Copyright 2022 Themes2GO.xyz – Vlogger is the leading WordPress theme for youtubers and video websites”;…I think this is the cause of the problem. Could you check it if you would be so kind to see if we can solve this problem???
Thanks a lot.
