I click the blue button that says classic mode and it changes to the text backend editor and so forth. I keep clicking it and it won’t allow me to have that feature.

I shrunkated the different sections so you could see what I mean. This is an entirely new page and there is no where for me to add the different elements from WP Bakery. The box that is usually there isn’t there. It’s like this on all of my pages. The homepage just shows text as if you were looking on the text side in the visual side. There’s no way for me to edit and such.

Also, if I keep QT Love how do I have the social shares show up on the aritcles posts? Right now I only see it on pages. Thanks

I downloaded a maintenance plugin and it worked. However, it didn’t allow me to go to customize — appearance option to customize the home page. It shows the maintenance page as the page to customize.

My apologies if I’m asking a lot of questions. But, I’m preparing for our relaunch and I want to make sure I know how to properly use this theme.

Do I need to keep plugins that are apart of this theme activated if I’m not using them? Such as QT Love IT and QT Places?

Also, is there a way to turn off comments on your posts and video pages? I’m trying to delete extra plugins that I may not need if you site does this. Thanks

I also have another question and didn’t want to create another thread to avoid confusion.

Do I utilize the customize additional css box in the customize setting to add coding to my site? For example I need to add my Google Ad code to the header of my site. Is there a way that I can do that through your theme without having to add a plugin to my site?

I’m trying to delete some of my plugins that maybe your theme already covers.

That makes total sense. However, I was going off of that because you said that when I first inquired. But then, I deleted every single third party plugin on my site, every last one except yours and the problem still persisted.

That’s when I knew it was your theme and you had me run the report.

I did notice that you guys did another update for your theme the day that you had me run the report. So, I wonder if your update fixed the issue.

Yes, I reinstalled and it’s all set. Maybe it disconnected with the work that you guys did by mistake. But, it’s all good.

Is there anything that could have been avoided with this WordPress glitch with your theme? Will this happen during the next WordPress update?

I’m reinstalling it now on my site. That’s so my site won’t get hacked and it’s security.

Ok, thank you. Do you know how long it takes for them to update? We are doing a new launch on Tuesday for our brand and we’re changing the designs of the homepage and so forth. So, are we still able to work on it while you guys are updating it?

I did update all of the plugins. I also deleted every plugin except the ones that come with your theme and I made sure those too were updated and I still got the black screen.

I literally deleted all of the plugins on my site except for the list that you provided above and the updated WordPress 5.7 still didn’t work on my site. It will show the homepage but when I go to any other link or categories a black screen comes up. It breaks my site. Please advise.

Hi, I removed MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress in my plugin list a long time ago because I don’t use mailchimp for my email provider. Do I still need this plugin active on my site for this theme to work properly?
