Hello and thanks for sharing your website url.
Getting rid of the double top section is quite easy:

1. Edit the homepage
2. Scroll down to the bottom until “Design Customization” tab.
3. Check the box next “Header with featured image and title will be hidden”
4. Click Update

Changing the header image is easy peasy 🙂

In order to change it follow these steps:
– edit your page
– go to the row containing the background image

– click on the pencil icon and switch to Design Option Tab

Here you can set your background image. I suggest you set it to Cover.

Remember to save it and then update the page.

Regarding the picture quality and resolution we recommend at least a 1600px wide @ 72 dpi in jpeg format.

The current image of the man is 2650×1120, 72dpi, jpeg.

For this need you can proceed with 3 solutions:

1. use Contact Form 7 (included with the theme): you can customize your form on your website but then you will need to connect it with your newsletter provider. Usually you can find useful information on how to do it on the newsletter provider website or support.

2. Embed a third party form: your newsletter provider should provide a “copy and paste” form that can be embedded on your website. Just check on your newsletter provider website or support.

3. use Mailchimp form (included with the theme): if you are using Mailchimp just go to your website backend and check Mailchimp WP. Here you should be able to connect your Mailchimp account and to your website and start collecting leads directly from your website.

Hello!

In order to manage your ads, just go to Appearance -> Customize -> Ads Manager.
Here you have multiple ads slots available, just click on them and erase the content from the the text editor.

Click Publish and you will be ready to go 🙂

I’ve just checked your website source code and it seems you’ve installed some third party plugin that are interfering with our theme.

My first advice is to disable all the unbundled plugins, reset the cache (if present) and check if the problem persists.

Also the 404 issue could be related with that.
Once you have disabled all the third party plugins, go to Settings -> Permalinks and hit Save (without doing any actions).

As you can see on our main demo here http://themes2go.xyz/demos/vlogger/demo/ it’s the default behavior of the slideshow shortcode.
Clicking on the “ribbons” will only switch slideshow items, for this reason it have the # link (controlled by the slideshow javascript).

from our clients experience we received positive feedbacks when using both bbpress and paid membership pro but we have not tested them yet.

Said this, I think thqt 9/10 of membership plugins will work well with Vlogger, you would only fit some templates to the theme aesthetic 🙂

I’ve just checked your website and it seems you have lots of third party plugins that could interfere with the text editor.
On a clean installation of the theme this issue doesn’t happen.
My advice is to disable all the third party plugins, included the auto optimize plugin, and check if the problem persists.

Then you should enable all the plugins one by one and see which is generating the issue.

Now I understand but the issue is related with Hellobar plugin and I can’t customize its behavior.

I can provide you this code snippet that will work if your Hellobar is opened but I can’t fix it when a user close it, if this does make sense for you.

It’s something related with a third party plugin behavior and goes out the support territory.

Add this to the Additional CSS section I’ve mentioned in my previous reply:

.side-nav {
    top: 142px;
}

You can try to contact the plugin author and check if there is any chance to push down our mobile menu.

I’ve just found your website searching for you previous reply and I’ve seen what your problem is about.

Considering that the problem is caused by third party plugins where we can give direct support, I think you can fix easily it.

First, you can check if the Hellobar plugin has some settings regarding its positioning.

If not, you should go to your backend, then Appearenace -> Customize -> Additional CSS and and this code:

@media only screen and (min-width: 1201px) {

  .qt-parentcontainer .qt-menubar {


     top: 60px; }
}

This will move the navigation down and should fit perfectly with your top message. 🙂

For the WP Bakery plugin update don’t worry, it comes bundle with the plugin and you have to buy it at all. We can provide plugin’s updates only when we provide a new version of the theme. This because we need to test the new plugin versions with the theme and be sure that everything works well together before distributing theme.

It will be our duty to provide fast updates in case security issues or severe WordPress incompatibilities appears.

This kind of issues, 99% of the times are generated from your hosting, not the theme.

WordPress sends emails to the address you’ve added to the admin data. You can try to find the message in your spam folder.

With this kind of error it usually comes another string of texts. Could you please send me that or maybe get a screenshot of the entire error?

Said this, the quickest way to know why WordPress is throwing this error or what’s causing the problem is editing your wp-config.php from WordPress’s root folder

//Turn on Debug Mode. 
//Find following like in wp-config.php and replace FALSE with TRUE

//FIND
define('WP_DEBUG', false);

//And replace with 
define('WP_DEBUG', true);

Turn on debug mode so you can find more details about the issues you are facing. Try to find errors log in your FTP that can also guide you about problem.

Another fix could be updating your PHP version.
WordPress 5.4 even 4.xx recommend to use PHP 7.4 so I think you should upgrade your PHP version and this can be the solution of problem you are facing. If you don’t know which version is running contact your hosting company they can help you.

In the end, just try to follow the steps I explained above and get back to me.
With WordPress debug mode activated, send me a screenshot of the issue and I would check what the problem is caused from.

Hello!

The comments we use in our theme is the built-in system of WordPress .
You can add the fields you need with this third party plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-comment-fields/

In order to hide the website field I suggest you a quick trick so you do not have to edit theme php pages.

Go to Appeareance -> Customize -> Additional CSS and add this little snippet of code:

input#url {display:none;}

Click Save and Publish and you will be ready to go.

Hello,

this kind if issue happens when you run multiple demo import procedures.
In your case you’ve probably performed twice, so all the menu items and posts have been cloned.

You have two possibilities:
1.reset your WordPress installation with a third party plugin like WP Reset that will set your website as a fresh new installation.

2. delete manually the items going to Appearance -> Menu.

I think we are talking about the same thing 🙂
On our online demos we didn’t install any third party plugins as All in One SEO or Facebook Thumbnail fixer.

Those plugins will add additional meta tag that will include title, description and image for your post shares, including the ones from the left social bar you see on our theme.

I’ve just read dome info on sproutvideo website and it seems there is no full compatibility with our theme.
Said this you can send a message including the video url at team@themes2go.xyz and I will check it personally.

Make sure first that your video is not private but public otherwise the embedding process will not be possible.

Setting up social sharing details is not a task for the theme, as matter of fact, there are some very good plugins to craft it.
We recommend All In One SEO which has a fantastic part for setting up the social networks sharing titles, description and picture.

For Facebook shares, you can also use a plugin called Facebook Thumbnail Fixer and set the preferred image.

the flyout banner is not part of the page you are editing but is a global feature. You can delete it by going to Appearance -> Customize -> Ads Manager -> Flyout and erase the content of the box.

Click Publish and you are ready to go 🙂
