I know I’m sorry, it turned out we had to rewrite half of the theme for this update because the new version of this plugin is completely different (not just a design change) and it breaks everything. We are almost there but this workload arrrived just in the middle of other scheduled actions so we are rushing as much as we can.
I think in one weel it will be ready for real, my apologies for the waiting.

Anyway except the interface and the new “certifications” (which are some downloadable jpg like a graduation thing) there are no big changes in the new version about functionalities.
They just messed up the code a lot.

1) You can add pitcures in the description using “add media” in the text editor
2) You can make a page and use the event shortcode together with an eventtype filtering

1) event: you can’t this option is only for pages. You can add a featured image or leave it blank and it eventually uses the global settings
2) You can always change the featured image

you can also:
1) Open the pot with poedit and click refresh to make sure it is up to date
2) Manually edit searchform.php and put it in the child theme

4) Event (till date) there is no suh option, you have to use the content of the event to add this information to the page. We already planned an update for this, which will add also a button to save the event in google calendar. Can’t provide a precise date yet.

PS is really a shame your hosting is just trying to sell you a bigger package, it appears pretty clear that they are indeed blocking on purpose the connection, and the solution wuold probably involve to add a line in the allowed connections (every time this happened to other customers their hosting just added our repository to the allowed connections and it worked).

Sorry I skipped those points.
Actually the native Contacts plugin was born as counter-offer to the more complex Contact Form 7, therefore it has no options or customizations, is just a “plug and play” form.
If you need to change contents, emails or anything else, you have to go with CF7.

For your logo, it is scaled down for the space but you can upload it scaled up, so you can upload it about 180px height and it will show nice in retina.
Just make the file a multiple of the height in px on a screen.

Thanks, as you see in the error message the problem is in fact from the hosting, Download Failed, it means your provider is blocking the connection.
It often happens that in cheap packages they block essential functions in order to sell you bigger packages.

CURL is active perhalps but the block can be in the connection on a server rule.
As you can see you can download the plugin manually by reaching this URL

Then once installed this plugin, it will guide you to the installation of the other plugins.
They will ALL have this very same problem of course. You can copy the URL of each one and download / install them manually, or switch to a more serious hosting.

If you want to stay cheap and get a super good hosting, we recently worked tight with a new hosting company which can provide a dedicated wp hosting without any problem.

Even with the cheapest package you’ll have faster performance and zero problems

It seems you have latest version by the way, I just checked for you, therefore you can have something blocking your connection to the plugins repository. It may be a server security block. Sometimes CURL (the module that allows external downloads) is enabled, but some hosting providers limit its connections.

Please post a screenshot of the error you see while installing the plugins (you can use imgur.com to post a screenshot).

The latest update date is in the product page on Themeforest. You can click on the Envato Market page of your WP admin to check if there are updates. Once you set this up it will make udpates easier (1 click). Is all explained in the manual under the Update page.

The widgets plugin may is called Themes2Go widgets, is the same, so you shouldn’t worry if you installed all the plugins with the theme installer.

Hello, you need to create the translation file yourself starting from the pot file provided within the /languages folder. There is a TXT file explaining how to do the translation in the very same languages folder, or also in our manual.

Hello, it is possible that the theme has been updated since your downloaded version.
You need to download the latest version from themeforest or update using the Envato Market plugin, then the installation will work fine.

Every theme version updates the pugin version and the old file gets deleted from the online repository, that can explain why you can’t install.

I just verified the installation and it works fine so is the only explanation possible.
Your server configuration is correct.

1) with our plugin you can’t but you don’t even need as we implement an anti spam already in the form. Otherwise install Contact Form 7 and it has ReCaptcha inside, our theme is made to work fine with this plugin.

2. No, footer is 4 columns fixed. You need to change in functions.php line 360

3. Contacts widget issue found and fixed. Uninstall the plugin “Themes2Go Widgets”, DELETE IT, then reinstall it fresh new from repository.

4. Contacts page: can’t change it easily, you have to edit the file of the plugin
widgets/qt-contactform/qt-contactform.php line347 and below, edit the HTML and add links to the texts there.

As I can see, your issue comes from a PHP issue. Just check what version of PHP is installed on your server and switch to PHP 7.0. If you haven’t any access to your server panel you should contact your hosting provider.

About your post with totally missing video, the video URL we see in the screenshot you kindly attached in the previous file doesn’t exists at all, I’d suggest to please check the Video URL and try again.
Also please be sure that the provacy setting of the video are open.

Hello we found the problem, you have a plugin called BSA that, if you have ads block on the browser, break the website functyionality. In fact, disabling ad-block in chrome, your BSA plugin loads correctly and the video shows fine.

So this problem is not related to the theme but happens because of a conflict between your plugin and ad-block.
There is nothing we can do to help you with this as our software is not involved in the problematics, I’m sorry. I’d suggest to find an alternative plugin to do whatever your plugin is doing as his one is blocked automatically.

I’ve just checked the source code of both pages and it seems that in the new one the vimeo video id is not printed in the code. Could you check on your backend if you add the video in the same way as the old posts?

In order to proceed with plugins installation, you don’t need a new license.

If your website is still empty and the person that was in charge for your website did not create any contents, I suggest you install the theme from scratch on a fresh WordPress installation.

Finally, about WP Bakery Page Builder (or Visual Composer): you don’t need to login on WP Bakery support. It comes bundled with the theme. Due to Envato’s licensing rules, we provide the plugins as a built-in feature provided under a Bundle extended license, which forbids us to provide License Certificate and Purchase Code to our customers.

We can provide plugin’s updates only when we provide a new version of the theme. This because we need to test the new plugin versions with the theme and be sure that everything works well together before distributing theme.

It will be our duty to provide fast updates in case security issues or severe WordPress incompatibilities appears.

Hi, this happens if you import the demo content without installing the required plugins, anyway you can just edit the pages and change the page template with the dropdown.

You can eventually reset your installation with the WP Reset plugin (will erase all data) and perform the installation from scratch (you’ll ust need to reactivate theme and plugins and import content, will take about 60 seconds).

It is possible that WordPress itself can provide a standard embedding in the content of the post, but to display the video in the headers we need to process all the embedding functionality through custom theme functions.
For this reason adding a new service is not a simple task, and as for now we had this request only from you, I’m sorry to say that we can’t offer this a theme feature.

If you hire any developer from Codeable or Envato studio to process your request we can get in touch with him to provide valuable information relative to the functions location in the theme structure and how to proceed for a correct implementation, but such function can for sure have some development cost.

Attualmente il tema utilizza javascript per “leggere” la grandezza del suo container ed espanderlo correttamente. Da quello che vedo, sembra che qualcosa stia interferendo con la corretta esecuzione del nostro script.
la causa più probabile è qualche plugin di video esterno.

Ciao, il limite è solo nel dropdown, e serve a garantire una certa performance nel caricamento della pagina, ma se vuoi puoi editare la pagina in modalità “classica” (senza visual composer) e puoi modificare manualmente il numero nello shortcode.

Se non dovesse funzionare fammi sapere che verifico se devi modificare il codice.
Il limite comunque è basato su una ragione di performance, quindi consiglio moderazione.
