I guess you are talking about the video included in the alternative homepage of the main demo. (http://themes2go.xyz/demos/lifecoach/life-coach-wordpress-theme-events/).If so, you can change the video in Pages > Your page with the video > and then edit the row like the images below.

in order to delete the logo hover and change the menu items hover, just go in your WP backend > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and paste these css lines.qt-menubar ul.qt-desktopmenu > li:not(.qt-menubuttons) > a:hover {background: #cccccc !important;} .qt-menubar ul.qt-desktopmenu > li.qt-logo-link:hover, .qt-menubar ul.qt-desktopmenu > li.qt-logo-link > a:hover {background: transparent !important;}
If you wanna change the menu hover you have to edit this line “background: #cccccc” with your color.

About Google Maps, as key points to remember is:
1) Do not just generte the key, please remember also to ACTIVATE the api for your use. Activation is done via a button you can see in the top part of the Google Maps Api panel, there is a small white “Activate” button that is not easy to see, that’s why I’m focusing on this.2) Domain: please start without any domain restriction, is very hard that someone uses your api key, but you can test your site first and add the domain to your api key panel on Google later on.
3) Remember to add the domain as *.youtdomain.something/* and yourdomain.something/*
The * is very important otherwise it only works in the homepage.

it seems very strange that the demo import didn’t work well.
As I see, you didn’t create any new content yet so I suggest you make a fresh WordPress installation and then reinstalling Vlogger following this 2 minutes video tutorial:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_e1IQxbtTGk
If the installation process will be ok, please change your username and password immediately to avoid access to your backend.

in reply to: series carousel issue on the main pageHello Joanna, I think your clarification was good enough for me to understand, thank you. You mean that in the single Serie page, you don’t see all the videos you added to that serie.
I just checked at the files of the theme taking care of the post extraction, for some reason with latest WordPress version a parameter needed to be added.
I just updated this file and you can already download the corrected version here:https://www.dropbox.com/s/j4r41m5dp1d9ona/functions.php?dl=0
Please download and replace this file via FTP in the root folder of the theme in wp-content/themes/vlogger.
If you are not familiar with FTP procedures, in few hours an official update will be available via the automatic theme updates. Please check out the Update instructions of the manual if you want to wait and go for the automatic theme installation.
To know if the update is ready, you can also keep an eye on the product page, the update “day” is written in the right column of the product details here:

in reply to: no of videos in series grid/listAbout the issue 1 ( the plugin) for the error you have to disable any “demo content” plugin. The code change was to disable the function of demo importing, NOT to fix the code error. The code error happens because you have another plugin conflicting.
I’m copying and pasting the correct procedure from the first answer:
1) This error happens because you have a previous version of a demo content installer plugin. We recently switched our demo installation function to theme dashboard, and theme dashboard ALREADY CONTAINS the previous version of the demo installer plugin.

1: I need a screenshot of the Plugins page please
2: The plugin is not required unless you don’t need to display maps. By the way we use this plugin in other 3 themes for a total of about 4000 installs and is very strange that you are experiencing this issue unless there is any plugin interferring or something else is happening.
Please try in this way:
A. Go in the settings of the QT Places
B. Enable all the post types
C. post a screenshot of the shortcode in your page editor: I need to see the parameters you are using because 99% the problem is here.
D. If you are not using a shortcode to display the map, I need please the link of the page where this is happening.Please send as many screenshot as you can, this is the only way we can get to the end of your issue. We recommend using the free site imgur.com to upload your screenshots.
It’s also necessary, if public, the URL of your site to make a proper diagnosis.

in reply to: T2G Theme Dashboard & Placesfor the point 1) is just a matter of adding // in the file, but if you have difficulties with that for the moment is not possible to do otherwise. We will add a checkbox in the process to add another step vefore confirming the import.
2) if you can set the map the api is now fine. for the error you are seeing just go to settings / permalinks and click ‘save’, this will fix for sure.

And you had to perform 3 passages to import the demo content:
1) Go in demo import
2) Choose the demo
3) Click Ok on a blocking warningSo is not an easy procedure that you can do without noticing…
by the way to disable it you have to edit the plugin code:wp-content/plugins/t2gconnectorclient/inc/_t2gconnector_admin_dashboard.php
and comment line 132 in this way
// $tabs[‘editor-paste-text’] = ‘Install demo’;
BY THE WAY: when we update this plugin you will need to change this code every time. So it would be better to be fully aware of what you are doing and read the notifications before performing an action in general, because there are other functions (out of our theme and plugins) that can erase your site much more easily and without any warning.
Is also recommended to do a periodical (daily) backup of your site, there is plenty of free plugins to do that.

2) Regarding your API issue, it may require up to 15 minutes for the api key to start working (this is how google works) so if everything is correctly configured you may try to wait a bit and retry.
If still doesn’t work, something isn’t correctly configured in your Google API key.
In this case, please send us screenshots of ALL the passages you do to create the API key from your account, so we can see what’s wrong. Remove any domain limitation, be sure to activate the key (not only generate it) and read for real all the explanation provided on the Google API page, as there may be details you are missing.

So, if you disable every “demo installer” plugin you have, and try again the installation of the theme dashboard, it will fix.2) Please go in Settings > QT Places. It will ask you to add a Google Maps API key, there is a link pointing you at the Google API page.
Please login with any Google account (like Gmail) and follow the instructions.
Please remember to “activate” the api for maps (you’ll see at a point the “Activate” button at the top of the screen.

in reply to: All posts go to 404 not found when clicked onHello, the theme is very sticky to the WordPress theme development standard, so it doesn’t have any implication with the website protocols.
I think what happens is that you may have in the demo contents some demo links pointing at our domain (Non HTTPS). In fact if your site is in SSL but you load images from other sites non-ssl, this causes an insecurity in your site.
In this specific case you may have in the customizer or in the home (in visual composer row backgropunds) some images pointing at our domain.
You have to edit your pages and replace those images with your own, both in the customizer and in the home page and other pages.This is just a content thing, once you change the contents with your own real contents the SSL test will be integer.
